The Bagel Hole (aptly named) is a local, hole in the wall, delicious spot for a grab and go bagel. No frills, no toaster, just good bagels. There can be a line out the door of the teeny storefront on the weekends, but it tends to move quickly and I would say the bagels are worth the wait. Very affordable too! The bagels have a nice crispy crust, a nice chewy texture, and most impressively I think the flavor itself is very tasty. Good and salty! I love how salty the everything seasoning blend they use is. Worth noting - the bagels are on the smaller side. In the warm months there is a makeshift outdoor space to enjoy your bagel, but really it's a takeaway spot. I would recommend getting a bag of bagels to go and making a bagel sandwich yourself at home, especially if you like a toasted bagel. Definitely my favorite bagel spot in Park Slope, and one of my all-time favorites in the whole city!

Old time boiled and baked then served warm bagels! This tiny "hole in the wall" bagel store has a limited menu, friendly staff, does not toast bagels and makes ones that are smaller than you might be used to but for taste and texture they are unbeatable. As one previous reviewer pointed out that for those worried about salt intake their everything bagel might not be the healthiest choice. Currently a bagel here is $1.40 and even cheaper if you buy a bag of day old ones. It is takeout only and on weekends expect to wait in line.

The bagels are good. But sometimes I like to pick up Friday bagels to eat on Saturday...or buy them on Saturday to eat on Sunday, etc. Well, the last time I did that, it was super-hard the next day. I had to wet it & microwave it slightly (a little trick I read about - you get the bagel slightly wet and then microwave for 10 secs or more). And, then it was okay, but I've bought bagels from plenty of other places lately where the bagel still tastes GREAT the next morning without having to do anything to it to revive it.
